Unless Otherwise Noted, all programs start promptly at 1:00 p.m.
Marine Science Floating Lab. Participants will partake in a four-hour interactive cruise on San Diego Bay. This program, run by the San Diego County Office of Education, provides students with a hands-on look at the marine habitats of the Bay. Participants will have the opportunity to observe what lives in the Bay and roll up their sleeves to perform several scientific tests of this aquatic habitat. Participants will also learn the value of this type of program for education as well as tips on how they can operate a similar program in their area. This program will require an additional cost of $10 per participant.
Anza Borrego Desert State Park. This will be a comprehensive look at Americas largest State Park (over 500,000 acres). Participants will explore Palm Canyon, have a behind the scenes look at the State Parks archeology and paleontology labs (not open to the public) and finish the day with a sunset view from Fonts Point in the heart of the Borrego Badlands. This will be an excellent opportunity to see one of the true gems of San Diego County. Those wishing to participate in this program must arrive at Cuyamaca Outdoor School by 12:00 in order to participate in a carpool to Anza Borrego. Free of Charge.
San Diego Zoo, Behind the Scenes. See the San Diego Zoo as never before! This guided tour will give participants an opportunity to see the zoo up close and learn what makes the San Diego Zoo one of the best in the world. This program begins at 1:45 and will require an additional cost of $7 per person.

Stonewall Peak Hike. The original All day Adventure, a hike to the top of Stonewall Peak has been a part of San Diegos Outdoor School Program since its inception in 1946. On this moderate five-mile hike, participants will learn about the habitats in and around Cuyamaca Rancho State Park and will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. Free of Charge.
Cuyamaca Outdoor School Facility Tour. This one-hour look at the facility will provide an overview of the facilities as well as the Outdoor School Program and curriculum. Free of Charge.
Visit to Julian (self-guided). A visit to this quaint mountain town is always a treat. Learn some local history, shop at Julians many unique boutiques, and sample the famous apple pie. Free of Charge.

San Diego Natural History Museum, Behind the Scenes. Learn about the great biodiversity of the San Diego region and the education programs made available through the museum. Participants may also want to save some time to explore Balboa Park and the other museums in the immediate area. Participants will depart Cuyamaca at 1:00 and arrive in San Diego for this educational tour. This program will require an additional cost of $6 per person.
